Coprosma rubra is a native evergreen shrub growing up to 4m tall by 2m wide. It has small green leaves and yellow-white berries in autumn. Naturally found from lowland to montane habitats in riparian forest or shrubland, often found on alluvial soils. Plant in full sun to part shade in moist but well drained soil.
