Hebe townsonii is a neat evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves. Growing to a 1m ball this hebe needs less pruning than other larger leaved hebes to keep its shape. It bears loose spikes of pale lilac flowers that age to white in summer. This hebe can tolerate frosts and high winds. Plant in full sun to part shade in a soil that is moist but well drained.
