Grey leaves harmonize with bright blue flowers in summer. Grows to 1.5m high by 1.5m wide making a great contrast plant for darker leaved plants. Can also be clipped to be used as a low hedge. Originating from the West Mediterranean this plant is very drought tolerant but not completely hardy for everywhere in Central Otago. Damage and foliar loss can be seen past -5c. Plant in a sheltered sunny situation where it can soak up the heat, possibly against the north facing wall of a house. Needs well drained soil.
