A handsome shrub that grows to 3m tall by 5m wide. The evergreen grey-green leaves are backed by a downy white underside creating a two tone effect. Sweetly scented white flowers are produced from late summer through early autumn. This is one of a few plants that will scent the air during Autumn. It will also suit a garden situation due to its smart appearence and a native wild garden or revegetation. Olearia avicenniifolia is hardy to frost, happy at -10c. Plant in sun or part shade in a fertile, moist but well drained soil.
