This is the type of lavender that has 'bunny ears' (bracts) on top of its flowers, which are a rich purple. One of the earliest flowering lavender beginning in spring and repeating again later in summer. Not as hardy English and Intermedia lavender so grow in a sunny spot out of frost pockets ensuring the soil is well drained. Grows to a 60cm ball. As this is an early flowering lavender cut back in Autumn not Spring.
