Common/Maori name(s): Blue Oat Grass
An arresting blue grass similar to Festuca 'Banks Peninsula' but larger. This evergreen grass grows to 60cm in height and width with flower spikes up to 90cm tall. The delicate 'flowers' are born from November to February. Plant in a sunny spot with good drainage, it will not like waterlogged soils. Very hardy down to -15c but will suffer some dieback when approaching -10c.
