syn. Lithospermum. Preferred name Glandora diffusa. A tough mat forming plant that will grow well in poor dry soils in exposed conditions. The bright blue summer flowers born on dark foliage are a striking combination. Grows to 15cm high and spreads to 60cm. Native to the mediterannean, hot summers and cold winters will encourage prolific flowering. Needs an acidic soil and full sun to part shade. Very hardy to winter frost provided well draining soil. If in doubt regarding drainage add gravel when planting.
