Recognisable by its dark leather leaves the Pittosporum makes a great hedge that is hardier to wind than many other Pittosporums. A compact plant that grows up to 4m high by 3m wide, used frequently as a hedging plant. Prefers full sun and well draining soil. Will tolerate wind and frost but can be slower to grow than Pittosporum tenuifolium in colder areas.
