Slender grass blades reach 2ms high and wide. Creamy feathery plumes reach 3ms in December. Prefers full sun. Good for erosion control and is tolerant of wet and dry soils. Fast growing on moist soils as it naturally grows in moist areas such as lake edges, stream banks and seepages. Formerly Cortaderia richardii.
