Mat forming groundcover, 1m wide by 20cm in height. The purple foliage will look great paired with the brown/red foliage of red tussocks. It will also help to reduce weeds. Full sun to part shade turning rich purple in full sun. Needs soil that is well drained, grows well in poor soils. Although it is hardy it will turn brown around minus 5 celsius but will recover quickly in spring.
